I am shocked how Prof. Howell was unjustly dismissed from his position at the Department of Religion at the University of Illinois for simply articulating Catholic moral teaching. I respectfully urge you to issue a public apology, repair the harm done to his reputation, and reinstate him as a professor in good standing.
