To the Oklahoma City University:

I vehemently protest the planned staging of the blasphemous play “The Most Fabulous Story Ever Told,” sponsored by Oklahoma City University. Among other offensive blasphemies, it depicts the Virgin Mary as a lesbian.

The Holy Mother of God is most pure and holy. To refer to her as a lesbian, or even to insinuate it, is an unspeakable blasphemy, which I reject with all my soul. Since blasphemy is not a legitimate form of artistic expression, I urge you to cancel the play.
